Jude's Wallet

What do the contents of my wallet say about me? There’s no money in the wallet, I could be married, but then, where’s the pictures of my sweetheart, or any picture for that matter. The only contents are cards; cards for the grocery store, health insurance cards, dental insurance cards, ATM and driver’s license, food cards. It looks like a wallet that is owned by someone that has no need for worldly possessions, someone that doesn’t like to carry his life in a black hand-sized container. Or, you could say that the individual that owns this wallet, is somewhat of a recluse, and doesn’t have much to show for his life other than the meager things that sustain him from day to day. He may be a sickly individual, since he touts around not one, but two health insurance cards which could mean he sees them often, is he ill? We know he has a job by his work badge and magnetic key card, but these cards are so deep inside his wallet that it took several minutes just trying to dig them out, as if the owner were trying to hide, or bury where he worked. He likes movies and music as defined by his subscription to a few of the local movies and retail stores in the neighborhood. The lack of anything else however, shows he’s alone.

The individual that finds my wallet may well think all those things above, but he or she will have missed out on a lot. They would miss that my friends and family love me, even though I don’t carry them in my wallet. They wouldn’t be able to know that I'm an artist and I love to draw and create things with my imagination. They wouldn’t understand what the quarter in the hidden pocket really means.

I love your artwork and really liked your writing style. I could tell it was written by an artist. My husband is an artist and writes similarly, more abstract and full of imagination. The quarter in your pocket is the coolest part.

Jude,
Your graphics are beautiful. Thanks for sharing a picture, too. Now you have me curious about the quarter~
